Anne Lewis, our Fellow volunteer, has gotten her new site, annelewis.org up and running! Yay! She has chosen Wordpress to power her site, but has run into problems making the site work as a traditional web portal to her work rather than solely a blog.

I noted in my comment on the Wordpress post, how to specify a static page. Here is a link to the Wordpress documentation on this topic. Wordpress does have strong documentation, but if you can’t figure out your issues there or find something doesn’t seem to be working correctly, hit the Support Forums. Be sure to search for an answer before posting!
