A couple of interesting emails came to my inbox recently. First, Celtx, a free pre-production software bundle. I haven’t used it so I’d be curious to hear any reactions, but the website boats screenplay formatting, storyboarding, scheduling, call sheets and various reporting. I might have posted about this before while the product was in beta. If you didn’t try it out, now is the time.

Another very cool resource is Adobe TV. The manufacturer of such industry staples as Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator has created a wealth of video documentation from various experts to show you how to accomplish and optimize all sorts of work in their programs. They have them organized by your professional use (photographer, video professional, designer, etc.). If you find any that are particularly great, let us know.
